Diagnosis:
Gun shot fracture of external and internal condylesof left arm. Wound severe
Treatment:
Amputation of arm at middle third of humurus. Cold water dressing by irrigation. Eleven arteries ligated. Ligatures come away on the 8 and 9 days. Fungus from medulla protruded through posterior third of flaps. Escoriatedand pressure. Applied with sweep.
Result:
Discharged from service. Stump entirely healed and patient enjoying good health.
